31/07/01 Not such a good time, having lost the last three league games, albeit against strong opposition. We now find ourselves likely to be out of promotion contention with 5 out of nine games won, respectable but disappointing. A few games with few runs have caused us problem, but spirits are still high for the last three games.
12/07/01 The season is going well with 5 wins out of 6 league games, hopefully we'll be challenging for promotion at the end of the season in six games time. An excellent win against Undy & Magor on the 30th June, by a big margin of 75 runs. Good performance were from Will Forrest (57), Dave Walsh (34) and bowling from Rob Smith (4/27) and that man Dave Walsh again (4/37). (Results)
25/06/01 After a start with 3 losses out of four games (fortunately, 2 losses were friendlies), we are on a roll, 3 wins out of three, especially with the batting still lacking in staying power. Two good innings against Cardiff Arms Treorchy from Lewis Clarke (57) and Ketan Patel (70), and a couple of scores from Rob Smith (58), have been the only highlights so far. The bowling and the fielding have been like lightening though! Rouchy - You're my hero! (Results)
22/05/01 A loss at the weekend to Taffs Well in the league by 4 wickets. Our top order batting is yet to fire, and the lack of runs let us down, though we battled all the way in the field. A top score of 24 to Glenn Newberry, and fine bowling from Steve Davies; 11 overs for only 7 runs. (Results)
14/05/01 The season has started with a semi-bang, a loss to Miskin by 7 wickets, but a good outdoor net! Then a solid 56 run win in our first league game against Dinas Powys III, Rob Smith starring with a fine 58, and Neil MacDonald with a miserly 3/14. (Results)
03/04/01 Season - First League game is at home to Dinas Powys on the 12th May, the week before that, on the 5th May, we have a friendly game against Miskin Manor III.
22/03/01 Cricket Nets - Nets are every Saturday at Talybont Hall, Western Avenue, Cardiff. Start Time 12pm. All are welcome ( £3 per net).

22/03/01 Dragons Tour - On the weekend of the 31st August - 2nd September, the Dragons will be descending upon Cambridge, England for their second tour. Anyone who is interested, email James, putting 'Tour' as the subject area.
02/02/01 Club Kit – New club kit has been organised. There is a choice of cricket shirts (2), polo shirts (2), baseball caps, floppy sunhats (2) and (smart) casual shirts.
